Taking the first step toward counseling can feel vulnerable, and I strive to meet each person with compassion and respect. I specialize in trauma/ TF-CBT, substance use, domestic violence, couples counseling, depression, anxiety, grief, and oppositional defiance. I also work with high-risk populations and have led faith-based groups at a women’s prison.
Tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs, I incorporate evidence-based practices while honoring culture, faith, and spirituality as sources of strength when needed. My professional journey is deeply informed by both clinical training and personal resilience. Having overcome trauma in my own life, I understand that healing is not linear; it is a journey. Lived experiences allow me to support clients in an empathetic way while providing psycho-education and walking alongside my clients as they develop self-awareness, gain practical tools, and work toward meaningful personal goals.
I see individuals ages 7 and older in the Glen Ellyn office.
