The ethics codes of the professional associations representing psychotherapists and counselors (NASW, ACA, etc.) encourage the ongoing use of professional consultation. The aim is to help enhance professional skills, knowledge, and attitudes for competency in quality care. Consultation also aids professional growth and development and improves clinical outcomes.
Life Care’s principal therapist, Rhonda Kelloway, LCSW, SEP has many years of clinical experience. Rhonda’s expertise includes the treatment of trauma (particularly with the body-focused modalities of Somatic Experiencing and EMDR), grief and loss, addiction and codependency, divorce, issues around infertility and adoption, and more. In addition, for students in Somatic Experiencing training, Rhonda is a SETI-approved provider. She has approval at all levels for individual personal sessions and case consultations. Rhonda is also an approved SE small group case consultation provider at all levels. She provides sessions and consultations in person and online.
