My path into psychotherapy began through the body. After several years working as a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner in Austin, Texas, I witnessed something profound—clients were not only experiencing physical relief, but also unexpected emotional breakthroughs on the table. These moments sparked a deep curiosity about how trauma lives in the body, how early developmental experiences shape our adult lives, and how true healing can unfold.
I earned my Master’s degree from St. Edward’s University in 2012 and have since immersed myself in body-based and somatic therapies. My training includes Hakomi, Somatic EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Transforming Touch®. Through this work, I’ve come to deeply understand that our bodies hold stories that words alone cannot always access—and that healing happens when we gently learn to listen.
My approach is grounded in deep respect for each client’s unique story, resilience, and inner wisdom. I practice from an integrative lens that honors the connection between body, mind, and spirit. In our work together, I may draw from parts work (IFS), mindfulness, breathwork, Somatic Experiencing, Transforming Touch®, and Somatic EMDR to help you build capacity, restore regulation, and reconnect with your authentic self.
The process of moving through layers of protection—patterns that once helped you survive—can feel uncertain and, at times, overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate that alone. My intention is to create a safe, attuned space where, together, we can gently explore what’s been held, support your nervous system, and help you move toward a greater sense of balance, clarity, and wholeness.
