Gayle Pape

LCSW (Glen Ellyn)

“I believe it takes a great amount of courage to seek therapy. I am passionate about treating the whole person with respect and honor. I have 23 years of experience working with children and adolescents. I use a strength- based approach, and I provide a safe space to assist in the processes of empowerment, healing and growth. My therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Art Therapy and Play Therapy. I treat anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional and behavioral issues, along with the effects of divorce, grief, stress, and school related issues. I help build self regulation skills, coping strategies, social competency and resiliency. When working with adults, we look at emotional blockages, relationships, poor self esteem and short term goals. I see clients in the Glen Ellyn office.”
