I bring a broad range of field experience to my clinical work, having worked at a school, multiple substance abuse centers, and an outpatient psychiatry clinic. I have worked with adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, autism, relationship conflicts, anger issues, low self-esteem, identity development, and life transitions. I use a strengths-based approach to help encourage, empower, and motivate clients.
Practicing from an eclectic, client-centered framework, I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy, Choice Theory, CBT, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches. I believe that therapy can benefit anyone, not only those in crisis, and I support a holistic, collaborative, and integrative approach to care. . Therapy can be a great place to share thoughts, express ideas, explore emotions, or talk about anything that is on your mind because sometimes we could all use an outside perspective on our situation. Whether someone is looking to process emotions, explore new perspectives, or simply have a safe space to talk, I am dedicated to meeting each person where they are and supporting their journey forward.
